I can't believe that my little Kennedy is 13 - officially a teenager. I hope she had a nice birthday. I think it was the first time she was not surrounded by family and friends.

It really meant a lot to her, especially this year.
We woke her up with breakfast in bed and a fresh lei and told her we were taking her ocean kayaking for the day. We had a really great day out on the water. We kayaked from Kailua Beach out to some islands offshore and back around past Lanikai Beach. We saw one sea turtle after another. It was an absolutely gorgeous day. We finished off the day with
