The last few days that we were in Lincoln Dave had really wanted to take the kids to eat the Waffle Barn. Waffle Barn it is a little cafe that Rogelio really liked to take us all to when we visited. Well, it never worked out and it got to be the day we had to leave....no Waffle Barn. We woke up around 5am to get to the airport for our 8:30 am flight. When we arrived at the airport we found out that there was a problem with the plane and that our flight was being delayed until 5 or 6 pm. We hurried and called Dave to come back to get us. The kids were so excited that they could now have their big fat breakfast. As soon as we got back to the house everyone got ready and we headed to the Waffle Barn. I think I gained 5 lbs. from this one meal alone! It was a really great way to end our trip with everyone though. Good idea Dave.
