The kids ( Ty, Kennedy & Tommy) jumping from the rock at Waimea Bay. They had lots of fun and went up and jumped over and over again.
That same day Kennedy and I swam out quite a ways from shore to see if we could get a closer look at a pod of spinner dolphins that were playing around in the bay. A bunch of other people were swimming, kayaking or paddling out on surfboards as well. The dolphins were not scared off by us at all. We ended up being pretty much in the middle of a pod of about 20-25. It was really incredible. We were within just a few feet of them at times and if we looked down into the water with our mask we could see them swimming right underneath us. They were very playful and were jumping and flipping up out of the water. One came right in front of us floating on its back and flipping its fins. It was something neither of us will ever forget. Of course we have no pictures of the whole thing. Kennedy posted a few pictures on her blog that she found online.

RIDICULOUS!!! I have only dreamed of swimming with dolphins and there you are like spoiled brats enjoying a miracle. Keep floating off in paradise. The only thing that makes me feel better is seeing your $9 gallon of milk :-). We miss you but you definitely don't have time to think about anything but jumping off cliffs and swimming in crystal clear bathwater-temp oceans! Rough!
Your life is my dream VK...Okay not swimming with dolphins because I have a major phobia of Sharks...(Sharks...dolphins they are all the same to me!)
Your kids are so BRAVE!
