hale sweet hale

Last Thursday the moving company came to unload our container and our other car....yeah! The kids were all very excited to have all of their stuff again and finally see some familiar things from home. Kennedy & Tommy have been such a HUGE help to us this past week with unpacking and entertaining Isabelle. We worked really hard to get as much done as we could so that we could get back to having fun. We love our new place. The people we are leasing
from are the nicest people in Hawai'i...no, really they are.
It is only a 2 bedroom place but makes up for it in all the other areas. We left the final decision up to Kennedy since it would be her that had to put up with sharing with her 2 younger siblings. She loved it as much as we did and was in all the way. We gave them the master bedroom for the additional space. They are all settled in and happy...so far. All for all of you that are worried about having a place to stay when you come, don't worry. We have plenty of space for our AeroBed in the living room and we kept those IKEA mattresses just for Uncle Dave (aka Tio Guapo). Dave- I know you are reading this and saying
'No way! I am staying down the street at the Kahala Mandarin!' :-)
We are in a really great neighborhood. We are right behind Kapiolani Park, just a short walk to the beach and almost as close to the elementary school as we were in our CA house.
Roger is happy because he is able to take the bus to and from work
and even on the bus it is just a 30 minute commute.
Being here has really changed our lives. We are really able to enjoy the little things again.
Roger is able to make breakfast for the kids in the mornings and take them swimming or on a walk after work. You forget how much things like that mean to having a happy family. We hope you all are doing well. We miss everyone and hope you are all able to make
the trip out to visit us sometime soon. ALOHA

Unbelievable. Love the house, love the pics of everyone with huge smiles on their faces, and love the details that you include so that we can live vicariously through you :-)

Hi, Fong family. This is Jeff Cooper's Jen, just so you know. I saw your blog on Ryan and Heather's so I had to see you guys in Hawaii. It looks so beautiful there. I hope that one day we can come and visit you there.
