our first visitors

I know I am not writing every time I post pictures. It just takes too much time. Sorry. I had to explain a couple of these next pictures though. The first few are the view from our condo. We are on the 43rd floor and the views are incredible. This is out of the living room window toward Diamond Head and Waikiki. The view from the dining room and kitchen is equally awesome. It is a wonderful view of the ocean, harbor and Ala Moana beach. There is a picture where the kids are on the sofa with Gabi and it looks like a poster or picture behind them. It really is the window....and that is the view. We are only here for a few more weeks though.
We have found a place to call hale(home).

It is a great little place in the Diamond Head area. We are very close to the beach and Kapiolani Park but most importantly we are in the school district that we wanted!! We quickly found that finding a place here was going to be much harder than we originally thought. We are very happy to have our search over and look forward to moving in around the 26th of this month.

We were very lucky this past week to have 3 different visitors. First, Courtney came to see us all the way from Chicago! We had a great time with her going to the beach, Hanauma Bay, North Shore, visiting Pearl Harbor and more.

Our next visitors, that REALLY wanted to be our first visitors, were Uncle Dave and Gabi. Kennedy was so happy to have Gabi here she could hardly stand it. They left today and Kennedy has been missing them ALL day long. We had a great time with them as well. We ate lots of great local foods as they really know all the good local grinds. Malasadas, shave ice and locally made ice cream were just a few of the yummy treats we enjoyed with them. We even had a small party one night so that we could celebrate Isabelle and Gabi's birthdays together. We really had a good time with them and can't wait for Uncle Dave's visit next month with Camila!
